Open discussion will focus on crime and creating a safer New Mexico for everyone

GALLUP, N.M. — The New Mexico Office of the Governor will host a Public Safety Town Hall in Calvin Hall Center at The University of New Mexico-Gallup at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2024.

Join Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham plus state and local officials for an open discussion about crime and creating a safer New Mexico for everyone.

The conversation will focus on community success and issues. It will also be an opportunity for officials to engage with attendees to hear their thoughts and ideas about public safety in the community.

Calvin Hall Center is located at 2150 Calvin Hall Drive on the 91³Ô¹Ï campus. Attendees are encouraged to park in lot C2 on the east side of Calvin Hall Center. A campus map can be found on the 91³Ô¹Ï website here.

Please be advised that the parking lots for the Health Careers Center and Nursing Career Center will be closed to the public all day Tuesday. Vo-Tech Drive will remain partially open for traffic and on-street parking.

Also, access to Calvin Hall Center from the outdoor patio/walkway area behind Gurley Hall will be prohibited in the afternoon/evening. Event attendees are encouraged to use the parking lot and entrance on the east side of Calvin Hall Center.
